Age: 24
Height: 5'4
Weight: You don't ask that!
Bust Size: It doesn't matter to you!
Pronouns: She/her
Affiliation: Order of the Twin Adder (Sergeant), Scions of the Seventh Dawn (former), Warrior of Light (on vacation)
History: M'yrrnah was born during the Garlean occupation of Ala Mhigo. Like some of those under Garlean rule, M'yrrnah's parents tried to go with the flow, trying to make a name for themselves by going with the flow and working with the Garleans, even if it meant scorn from both sides - for siding with the enemy and for being a "savage". In secret, they sought to evacuate M'yrrnah from this life, believing that she would find a better life away from being a Garlean citizen.
At age 14, during one of the many attempts to liberate their home, her parents made their move, smuggling her onto a ship that was leading out. She never knew if her parents survived or not. The ship was later ransacked by pirates and the crate she was hidden away in was taken in. By sheer luck, the crate would find its way to a town outside Limsa Lomansa, where a Doman couple discovered her instead of supposed supplies. The couple would take her in, giving her the surname "Takahashi". During this time, her adopted family trained her in polearm combat, believing her to be proficient in it.
However, when M'yrrnah became of age, her adopted family realized that she was becoming restless and allowed her to leave. She vowed to become an amazing adventurer and send the money back to her family for all they done to her. Tired of the sea life, M'yrrnah decided the best place to go would be Gridania. However, confronted by Mother Miounne, M'yrrnah panicked, fearing someone would recognize her name and chose the pseudonym "Crystallis Ra-Lyn", thinking it would work. Somehow, it did.
During the events of the story, "Crystallis" would join the Lancer Guild at first before learning of and joining the Gladiator Guild in Ul'Dah, awed by warriors there, ultimately becoming a Dragoon and a Paladin in the process. She would take a slow path trying to complete the Trials of the Zodiac to obtain the Excalibur Zeta Weapon. The supposed death of Sultana Nanamo Ul Namo and her Scion friends would draw her to the dark side and become a Dark Knight, using its power to help bring justice to Ishgard and end the Dragonsong War, slowly backing away with the Sultana's return and the Scions coming back. The return to Ala Mhigo would be a rough one, prompting her to take up both the Summoner and Samurai jobs to help cope and understand. Though her home was liberated, she couldn't find her parents. Had they died or had they been taken away elsewhere?
The journey to the First was a rough one as the creatures of the Light and those who used them for their own purposes rattled her badly, Emet-Selch's actions really cheesing her off , though she tried to put that behind her to honor his last wishes. The coming of the End Days soon after would prompt Crystallis to not only take up the Gunbreaker job, but also come clean to her Scion friends the truth of her name, feeling that if she hadn't said who she was before everything ended, she would die with regrets. Though she nearly did die in her final fight with the Endsinger and Zenos, she was just glad she could make it through with her friends. With the Source safe, Crystallis decided now was a good time to hang up the "Warrior of Light" title and return to her adventuring roots, hoping to find her parents as well now that the Garlean Empire had fallen.
